Half Salt

Half Salt is a series of photographs made in Goa. The images create a realm of their own—one that explores a language of the estuary, entanglements between human and beyond-human life, weather, and time. 

The process has been slow and mostly self-taught – working with analogue photography, often using expired stock, learning to develop and print. There’s been a lot of trial and error, with moments of surprise and ongoing attempts to understand and shape certain visual qualities. The images lean into an atmosphere – held between familiarity and the uncanny.
